Maz Art was a joy to work with... responsive and happy to make requested changes. ( Please note: We can't release the design until the official campaign roll out which will be in the next few months.)
How potrero_media started their logo design journey
We want your help creating a logo for Insurance Guide, a website that helps consumers make an informed decision about what type of insurance is right for them and then provides them with an easy means to get a quote based on that information. The site provides information on all different types of insurance, so please do not limit your concept to include only one depiction of insurance (for example something health-based would not be useful to us).
PLUS: We have many upcoming projects that we will need logos, site designs, etc. for. The winning designer and runners up in this contest can look forward to continued work on all different types of materials in the future!!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience is insurance consumers of all ages. They will find this site on the internet (typically through a search engine). They want a brand that is trustworthy and secure but still friendly and focused on them. The logo must be original and compelling while conveying the brand message. It must be delivered as an Adobe Illustrator file.
Key concepts for this logo:
Things we don't want:
-Colors inappropriate for this type of project (pink, purple, etc.)
-Designs that are "fluffy", "girly", etc.
-Script fonts (with rare and justified exceptions allowed)
The logo must include the words Insurance Guide (note: not THE Insurance Guide), but may also include a graphic in addition to the type treatment. Something that is either landscape-oriented or has an alternate landscape-oriented version would be ideal, as this is going to be at the top of a web page.
I will provide feedback on designs as much as possible.
We will have continued opportunities for logo design and more in the future.
