Psychotherapy Net needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 85 designs submitted by 32 freelance designers.
We need a logo for a new blog by Psychotherapy.net called The Therapeutic Dialogue, which is a blog about current issues in psychotherapy. Psychotherapy.net is an online resource, magazine and dvd distributor for psychotherapists.
The Therapeutic Dialogue
Psychotherapy.net is launching a new blog called The Therapeutic Dialogue. This is a play on words, as the therapeutic dialogue in therapy terms means the dialogue between therapist and patient. In our case, the blog will be a discussion between two psychotherapists on current issues in the field. The new logo will show off the blog.
- Color scheme should match our company logo.
- Something simple and iconic.
- Encorporate the idea of dialogue and discussion, could use heads, but not necessarily.
- Examples of blog logos we like - http://bitten.blogs.nytimes.com/,
http://papercuts.blogs.nytimes.com/?8dpc, but not necessarily that particular layout with graphic above title.
- Previous designer came up with this logo for us. We like idea of heads talking, but don't like cartoony look, and oversimple outlines of heads. Want something more cohesive and sophisticated.
