rob7C got their new logo design by running a design contest:
"Bee" Your Best! Beekeeping Industry Design
Check out rob7C's Logo design contest…
This brand will be targeted at beekeepers, both commercial and hobbyist. Beekeepers are quite pragmatic and down-to-earth so its important that the logo is not too sophisticated and important that it feels grounded. The logo will represent a learning/educational website that beekeepers will access via a subscription to increase their knowledge on how to beekeep (helping them to become a better beekeeper). Typically beekeeping has been based on learning off another beekeeper - this usually means they pickup bad habits as well as good habits! The focus of Best Practice Beekeeping is on its tagline 'Science-Based Learning' - using science combined with commercial experience to deliver compelling education content. NOTE: The science I refer to is Apiculture Research and Trials - please do not use test tubes in the logo, this is not the feel we are after.
Have fun! Upon completion of the design I would like the winner to design a simple home-page look feel. There was no option in 99Designs to select this as a competition.

rob7C collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
