How Rhino Consulting started their logo design journey
We are actually a couple, who are about to be married. The idea for a family logo started with a need to design wedding invitations. I do marketing and event planning so I didn’t want to use a “hallmark” company for invites as I wanted something more unique! This is where 99 designs come in handy. We want to create a family logo that we can use for the wedding as well as all future family correspondence.
Here is a little about us. Our initials are JRC (mine) and GGS (his), mine will become JRS – so S is the lucky letter. But please be more creative than just a monogram. I do marketing and event planning and a Rhino is my logo (the animal) and he owns his own financial management company “Taurus Capital Management” with a column as his logo. So a rhino and bull are very close to both of us (will be the toppers of our cake actually) but perhaps a bit “harsh” to be the stand alone logo. Incorporating these items would be cool.
Given our financial and corporate fields we are pretty traditional with a modern feel. We like clean lines and natural “earthy” colors. Simple is better for us.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Out target audience is the people we know. This is where the creativity comes in. You have full rein. Please nothing too corporate or out there. Feel free to incorporate flowers or more of a hallmark stationary feel to the logo as I would like it to be flexible so it can stand alone on a stamp or be used as a watermark.
The requirements are for it to look nice, not elementary or religious. Something clean and modern but creative and unique… Remember this is for wedding invitations but nothing cliché as it will be used for thank you notes and general correspondence in the future. Just something cool that incorporates us into the standard flower or design graphics that you see on any of the more earth modern stationary…
I hope this makes sense :0) Thank you for your time and work on this!
