Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell high-end "home servers" to IT professionals and semi-professionals, e.g. software developers. Antsle servers are reliable, hard-working and social like ants in an ant colony.
You buy an antsle server because you reclaim ownership of your data: It's in the antsle in your home rather than in google's, amazon's, dropbox's or github's servers. You're replacing the datacenter and the cloud with a new "cloud 2.0" of interconnected antsle servers.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I envision the logo to be round (circular), though that is not a strict requirement. The logo should be kind of "minimalistic", yet conveying a high-end quality image. The logo can be without the letters "antsle", so I can have a version with letters and one without.
I dark "slate" color background would be good, as well as my corporate red, RGB 166 23 2.
The logo can resemble/contain a (heavily) stylized ant, but not being too literal/organic (that would be perceived as pest), nor being too playful like a cartoon character.
Contemporary design ("flat" design, "thin" fonts) would be great.
I have attached a few drafts that I did myself. They are all around the theme of a "Stylized Ant", just as Apple uses a "stylized apple" in their logo. Unfortunately, the stylized ant in my draft looks horrible, a bit like "pest". I'd love to have HEAVILY stylized ant, that looks high-value. But I'm also open to logos that do not contain the ant but convey the company mission in some other way.
