How White Venture started their logo design journey
The name Saydanar means goodwill. Saydanar is a small aid organization from Switzerland which supports and realizes dedicated aid projects in Burma (Myanmar). Our first project was dedicated to the Nargis cycone victims, we supported them with drinking water, food, housing and cloth. Currently we are realizing the construction of wells and pipes for drinking water supply. One of the founders is half swiss half burmese with a very faithful, reliable and effective network.Saydanar periodically inform donators about the status and progress of our projects.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
+ Private persons in central Europe (in particular Switzerland) with social responsibility
+ People who already support aid organizations but want to support smaller organization with concrete projects and virtually no overhead
+ Donators who want to see concrete results
The logo should consist of two parts: 1) The written name "Saydanar" and 2) a symbol or image of a flower or something abstract that looks like a flower.
The symbol should have an "asian touch", so that without knowing, a potential donator reckons that it has "something to do with Asia". Saydanar supports dedicated projects as lean as possible. Therefore, the symbol should be straight, simple, memorable and appropriate. The symbol should preferable be in one color; the written name in another. Combine black/gray with warm red, orange, or any other warm or gentle colors. Preferably stick to two colors. As said, keep it simple. Nevertheless the logo should have a modern and stylish appearance.
+ It's a must to provide the logo as a vector graphic in Adobe lllustrator format
+ The font for "Saydanar" should be a common font being available in any standard windows installation; else use a free font
