An economic development research center is looking for a new logo that uses the new organizationâ€™s name (â€œThe Fragile States Resource Centerâ€). It should be crisp, sharp, simple, elegant, and convey a highly professional image. The audience will be academics and government officials. The logo will be mainly used on an online information portal.

The logo should follow a color scheme similar to the book posted on http://fragilestates.org/cover/. Beyond this limitation, we are open to creative ideas about the designâ€™s presentation. Do not hesitate to experiment. It must of course be usable on the web.
Here are some prominent academic think tank websites for you to reference their logos. Note that some of these are in the same field (# 3-6) and have a similar audience.
