democratech is the first internet platform to crowdsource election candidates. Our goal is to create more democratic elections by breaking the monopoly of traditional political parties over the nomination of election candidates. To do that we organize open democratic primaries to crowdsource the best candidates from all over the country. In France, we launched LaPrimaire.org (https://laprimaire.org), an open democratic primary aiming at crowdsourcing the next french president (french presidential elections will be held in 2017).
What makes democratech different in essence is that we are using technology to "crowdsource" election candidates. In our election process, we go from having many possible candidates (as many as possible in fact), to having, in the end, one (or several depending of the election) candidate, the most representative one.

Unlike traditional/obsolete political parties' graphical universe, our logo should inspire citizens who are looking for some fresh air/novelty in the locked-down/controlled world that is today's politics. We value openness, transparency and we rely heavily on technology. It is important to note that even though our industry is political, we are 100% non-partisan. The specificity of our open democratic primaries is that : (1) they are 100% democratic as *anybody* can be a candidate (2) they are open to all ideas. As organizers, we are prohibited to be candidates to anything and we have an obligation of neutrality. This is why we cannot have a completely blue or a completely red logo for example. It is also important that our logo does *not* make people think that "democratech" is a political party because we are not and because this would be detrimental to the message we want to convey.
