DjungleWiFi is a Djungle branded Internet service offered by the company SpectraLink Wireless. The DjungleWiFi service is deployed and operated in universities, schools, healthcare centers and business districts across the West African region. The primary focus (target market) is on providing Internet service to the education sectors in the region, and thereby increase the level of education and meet the UN Millennium Development goals. The company has partnered with respected global NGO's and funding institutions to provide a service that is first class, but at third world prices. In addition to the basic DjungleWiFi-branded Internet service, the company will also be offering value added servies, such as e-learning tools and productivity software applications like Office 365 for institutions; and leisure services such as streaming music and IP-TV for after-hours consumption. It is envisioned that the basic Djungle brand will grow and be the platform for many different services. Just like Virgin has become in the UK, i.e. DjungleTV, DjungleMobile (mobile telephony), etc. Once deployed in a campus or area, the Internet service is accessed via normal WiFi. When on the network, a user selects and pays for different packages for Internet service, based on their needs and finances. Packages could be: • 1 month unlimited access @ $40.00 • 2 weeks unlimited access @ 25.00 • 1 week unlimited access @ $15.00 • Etc.
