The German Israeli Startup Exchange Program (GISEP) is a project initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the German Startups Association (Bundesverband Deutsche Startups, BVDS) intended to strengthen the German-Israeli economic relations in the field of startups. The BVDS was founded in September 2012 by a group of entrepreneurs as the representative and voice of startups in Germany. The association is committed to establishing a founder friendly environment and opening up a dialogue with decision-makers.
With about 650 members (representing more than 500 startups in all stages in sectors), the BVDS represents and connects the members of the German startup ecosystem with each other. The Exchange program will be targeting startups, that want to internationalize from Israel to Germany and the other way around. We act as matchmakers and connect the ecosystems.

We would like to see something that reflects Israel and Germany coming together but would go for something different than two flags. Because the main topic will be startups and innovation, we could see something resembling the topic and using both white and blue for Israel, as well as black red and gold for Germany. We are open to other suggestions, too. For the business cards, please include all three, the GISEP-Logo, Logo of the German Startups Association and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy
