Games & Recreational
Økonomispillet combines education and entertainment to create a fun trivia game. With a theme of business and economics, it targets not only students and professionals, but also those with an interest in and curiosity about the field.
What's your vision?
The last, and most important part of our game, the board! Our overall style for the game has been minimalistic, luxurious, with grey tones/black & white as the main elements, with gold, silver and some color added in where it's suitable. We believe that in order to be able to create a fitting design, you need to understand the game. Therefore, the rules are added in the "Other"-section below. Read that before continuing. We need a way to pick the category your question will be drawn from. There are six categories. They should be represented by a relevant icon. The game is meant for students and professionals, from age 16 and upwards. 8 people should be able to play the game. If you want to make ONE board with all elements in it, or split it up into several separate, but smaller boards, that's entirely up to you. Get in touch if you need more information. In addition to the one-time fee paid through 99designs, we can potentially offer further, contractual compensation once the game has been produced and brought to market, depending on sales figures. This requires a collaboration between us which extends past this one gig.
Økonomispillet is a quiz board game, similar in many ways to Trivial Pursuit, where you answer economics related questions in pursuit of victory. There are six varied categories, all relating to economics/business somehow. - Economics and finance - Business and management - Innovation and entrepreneurship - Economical history - Accounting and auditing - Mathematics and statistics Different from Trivial Pursuit is how the pawns are moved. Instead of a circular playing board, each player is presented with their own grid, representing your stock price. If you get an answer correct, your stock price increases and your pawn is moved upwards, and vice versa. This goes on until you've reached the target price, where you enter "dividend mode" (get three random questions correct in a row, and you win the game). The game also differs from Trivial Pursuit in that you can add different variations of play styles to the game. For example, if you want a quick game, play "Stop Loss", where your pawn never moves downwards if you get an answer wrong, it stays put. Or you can play "Personalities", where you're given a card with certain traits/perks at the start of the game that you can utilize during the actual game. Another variation is "Purist" where the only way to win is to get the questions right. If you get it wrong, your pawn moves down a notch. There are more variations, but they haven't been perfected yet.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Illustration or graphics starts at HK$2,799.
