We need an illustration, based on the rendering provided in this brief, for our Annual Magazine, BESPOKE Airborne Connectivity & Style. The magazine is a once a year publication with a limited run, and it features communications, business and lifestyle articles.
The illustration is to support a two-page article called "anatomy of a handset." Our goal is to show our handset (the TrueNorth Stylus) as an art piece rather than a rendering. The idea is to convey the message that the handset is customizable, and it can fit in to the person's lifestyle; to bring their imagination into the story.
We want the illustration to be representational (i.e. it still needs to look the handset), and we like the styling and feel of Vincent Van Gogh, Vladimir Tretchikoff, Charlie Harper, and William Morris. The image will be the feature of the two pages - there will be very little text. We'd like the illustration to represent a specific era, we’d like a dark background, something a little dramatic.
