ericwan got their new illustration or graphics by running a design contest:
Create a set of sketches for a landing page

We provide VPN services to expats in China so that they can reach blocked sites like Facebook, YouTube and the New York Times.
What's your vision?
This project needs 4 images. I want to base our design roughly off the images on Dropbox's front page. The first image is by far the most important. I want a sketch-type drawing of a laptop, tablet, and smartphone. On each of the 3 screens should be a sketch of a different website. The laptop should display a sketch of Facebook. The tablet should display YouTube. The phone should display The New York Times. Each website needs to be easily identifiable to a casual viewer from the content on the screen. These 3 websites are all blocked by the Great Chinese Firewall. I want to demonstrate, via this sketch, that our service allows access to these websites. That is, these sites are blocked, but our service unblocks them. Consequently, in addition to the websites being sketched on the monitors, I want to show a broken brick wall on each of the screens. The brick walls should be broken in such a way that the websites revealed below are still easily recognizable. That is the most important image to be designed. We have 3 more, simpler images, to be designed in the same sketch-type style as the image described above. Each of these 3 images will be used to illustrate a small text blurb describing the benefits our service provides. The text shouldn't be in the images, it will be beside the images. I'm just including it so that you understand the purpose of the images. The first text is: "Fast. No overloaded servers! Our community's small size keeps the bandwidth flowing fast." To illustrate this, we want to show two computers networked together via a lightning bolt. The second text is: "Reliable. Being a small, *private* VPN just for you and your friends ensures a reliable connection with minimal disruption." Feel free to be creative with this one. My initial thought is to show a small group of people together, and a giant eye (think Eye of Sauron) trying to spy on them, but being blocked by a hand or a wall or a shield or something. The third, and final, text is: "Easy. Get up and running in less than 5 minutes, regardless of what kind of device or computer you have." Here I want to show a clock illustrating 5 minutes. I also want to show Windows, Apple, and Android logos (in the same sketch style as the other images). Maybe there should be an arrow from the clock to the logos. The image should convey: "In 5 minutes, you can use this service on these 3 types of systems."
I want to follow the style from Dropbox pretty closely. I have attached the relevant images from the Dropbox landing page. I've also attached an image of a computer with an unbroken brick wall on the monitor, demonstrating the firewall (but remember, we need the brick walls to be broken on our screens, so that we can see the website underneath). The other 4 cartoon sketch files I've attached from the Dropbox should be imitated in style, not content.
