Our product is making keychains that look like lumberjacks. Big beards, plaid shirts, big smiles, burly dudes. We are targeting people in the united states who have keys.
What's your vision?
We are exploring character development of a character named THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN BEARD SCRATCHER. I need sketches, pencil preferred, of a lumberjackish type guy, on a keychain in several different angles. Id like to see close-ups of his face from different angles. He needs to have a plaid shirt (black and red) a beard, blue jeans, boots, not too muscular. This is essentially an action figure on a keychain. His hand/arm should be able to rotated upward to scratch his beard. Variations id like to see: • Try with a wool cap on his head and then no hat • Big beard or small beard • Smile or no smile • Thicker/muscles or thinner • Illustrate action of pushing down on his head and his beard grows and his hand goes up and scratches his beard ALL ILLUSTRATIONS SHOULD BE OF HIM ON THE KEYCHAIN :)
These sketches are only to help us discover more about this character, not produce the final character. So the more sketches the better, we want you to experiment with the character. We are going to be presenting these sketches to a client. So, the quality needs to be professional, but sketch form is OK. See enclosed images for sketch style, as well as a keychain/found character we are basing our direction on.
