This project is about filling out what is currently just a static-page site. Looking for a custom wordpress theme to run at this domain: http://bit.ly/atsTsb The site will sell 4-5 iPhone apps (links to iTunes store) and also host content that will be relevant to potential customers. We are a mobile-app development and marketing company, and we have partnered with one of the world's leading self-improvement gurus to develop innovative mobile applications. We have received national press for our previous work.
Target audience is self-improvement focused iPhone users, and others who may not use iPhones but are interested in the content area. These tend to be women age 25-50 who are English-speaking and generally US-based. We want a strong theme that communicates quality and credibility but is still accessible and warm. These are yoga and self-improvement fans. The type of women who shop at http://www.lululemon.com/
We need a layered PSD file, so that it can be coded.
Current site is mostly a splash page. New site structure will be:
*Landing page (top level) with mostly static content and latest feeds from within blog
*Individual category pages - most will be populated by blog posts, but some will be static-only.
*Dynamic pages will focus on new articles, and need to have prominent social media sharing buttons
*Additional largely-static pages
Site structure is wireframmed at: http://andrewjrosenthal.jumpchart.c…w/29ad757/
The goal of the project is to use WP as a CMS to manage and update the static pages, as well as to use the blog function.
Navigation should be horizontal tabs at top, below title space. Navigation items should be editable through CMS (not images). Drop-down menus for second-level menus are fine.
The design must match the existing color schemes. Color schemes are found at existing site: http://bit.ly/atsTsb and also visible in uploaded screenshots from one of our prorams.
