The company is a new venture by three established industry veterans. Magnolia Red is a music artist management and production company with an on-site, multi-million dollar recording studio. They have formerly worked with major-label artists, and are now cultivating relationships with new artists and attempting to market them to major labels and media.
The overall company culture is a fun and less serious environment. Their new offices and studio are a very modern and sleek, clean design with lots of clean industrial feature (brushed metal finishes, polished concrete, etc.).
The target market is both artists seeking representation, and potential media buyers and promoters. The site will have pages devoted to current artists and their catalog. It will also be very heavily tied into several social media services (Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo/Youtube) and have embedded video of performances and video blogs.
The site that best represents a direction they would like to go would be http://www.nettwerk.com/. They are very interested in a clean, simple design, as there may be pages that will be fairly busy with different types of content.
I am attaching files of the proposed pages and layouts of those pages so that you may get a better idea of the wireframing of the site. I am also attaching the company's new logo (I will provide a PSD as soon as it is available to me). The font they are using for the brand identity is Disturbance Regular. They are licensing this font. The color scheme of the site does not necessarily need to stay red, but it should be at least complimentary to it and feature some red elements (The studio and company both have the word Red in the name).
Please be mindful of the different types of pages, and attempt to use web-safe fonts when possible for ultimate SEO and browser compatibility.
Also, please feel free to ask any possible questions. I will attempt to give the most detailed answer possible.
