CHowTo needed a new button or icon design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 6 designs submitted by 5 freelance designers.
We are looking for a uniform designed set of button icons to look similar to our existing logo button design in the attachment. The buttons need to be modern, have a web 2.0 look and feel, and easily recognizable as part of the same theme.
Surplus Property Software
Designers,
Please visit SurplusPropertySoftware.com and you will view the logo in the top left corner, and in that logo is a gray circled button with swooping arrows (also in the demo video in the middle of the screen). This logo icon is for Surplus Property Software (SPS). SPS has grown large enough to offer 4 new products:
RFP Manager- Manages the creation and implementation of RFP documents for institutions looking to put out request for proposals for local companies to bid on.
Federal Surplus Software- Similar to our main application, except that it focuses on the management of Federal Government Surplus.
Web Data Corporation- Company that creates custom software applications for all types of institutions.
Auction Software- Web-based software application that runs live online auctions.
For each of these 4 new products, we need a new icon logo button created similar to the SPS arrow button. Each button should follow the similar theme of the gray outside border, but should have unique color and identifiers on the inside of the button.
We can offer suggestions such as a gavel icon for auctions, or WD lettering for Web Data...but if you have your own ideas in mind, we'd love to see your creativity!
If you have any questions feel free to ask and I promise to provide constructive feedback within 6 hours after you submit your design. Good Luck!
