Creates iPhone apps
What's your vision?
I need an icon for an iPhone app. (EDIT: I removed this sketch, because I think it was misleading) I attached a very crude sketch, but essentially I want a caveman taking a picture of food that he would eat. The left foreground is a boulder, but it could be fire or some other element that would make sense (or left out) I colored the background blue -- it should be some neutral color (not red, yellow, orange -- some off-gray, blue, dark green is ok). It is ok to be creative -- the essential elements are caveman, photos, food. It could be a book of photos of food -- it could be a photograph of a caveman eating. You could try leaving out the food. (EDIT: This is the part that I think is working well) Another idea: a cave painting of food, or a caveman making a cave painting of food. (I added another image of cave painting imagery to use as inspiration). In this case, the background would be the cave inside (gray to reddish gray) with reddish-orange figures (see cavepainting.jpg and other reference material) DO NOT apply rounded corners or the "shine" on the icon -- the iPhone does that automatically (if you do, it must be in another layer, so I can remove it) Generally, I prefer simpler -- it should feel at home on an iPhone home page. It's an icon, so it doesn't need to be as literal as my sample. I would even consider well done icons that are more abstract (outlines or a few colors like the iPod icon on iPhone) I need vector based files, but it will be rendered in 512x512 down to 57x57.
