Have you heard of Withings? We are a French company that produces connected objects. Our first realization is a connected scale, enhanced with an online dashboard where our customer can retrieve their weight, fat mass, lean mass and BMI drawn in curves. This interface can be consult from a computer and from a Smartphone (Iphone, Android and Ipad). We will offer a scale to the winner! (Value: 159USD). We have a great press coverage (New York Times, Wired, …) and some very good feedback (for instance on Amazon)

We developed a Facebook app where you can bet on your friends’ next weight. It’s called Guess My Weight. The principle is simple. When someone posses a scale, his friends can bet on his weight (will it go up or done? Will he be thinner or fatter?). Then, when the guy steps on his Withings scale, it automatically transmits his weight to the app. If you guessed right, you win. If you guessed wrong, you lose your stake. To help you betting, you can consult his Graph Wall with his weight evolution.

We have two main targets for this app. Our customers (who own a Withings scale) and their friends (who don’t). The goal for our customer is to offer a funny way to syndicate their friends to their weight management. The goal for their friends is to make them discover our product and service through a game.

We need a set of 6 icons and 1 picture to express the different actions available on Guess My Weight. For the moment, we put some temporary icons for the beta version. You are completely free to propose a brand new design. We are not looking for an “amelioration” of the existing ones. We would like fresh proposals.

Attached, you will see the temporary icons (to give you a better idea). The main colors of our app are white, blue-sky and gray.
