We are a online marketplace that connects service providers to consumers who need their services.
What's your vision?
We are looking to have a set of four icons each with 3 states designed for use within our site (www.whocanhelp.com), along the same concept as the notification Icons you see in FB when you are logged in to your account. WhoCanHelp.com connects services providers to consumers. e.g. You create a "post" looking for someone to do landscaping. You then get "offers" to do the work. If you are a landscaper, you see "leads" and make "offers". Please visit our website to see our colors and see what we're about. So we need the icons for: * My Posts (e.g. Henry's Landscaping made an offer on your post) * My Offers (e.g. Bob commented on your offer) * My Leads (e.g. Joe needs a tree planted) * Messages (e.g. You need to leave feedback) Reminder: Landscaping is just an example of one of many services so don't make icons specifically for landscaping) Each of these icons should have an alternate version for the following states. * Unselected * Hovered * Selected Tip: you can provide the Hovered and Selected states towards the end of the contest. Initially, we are interested in the primary (unselected) state. Icon size should be: 20px X 20px Ideally, final icons should have transparent backgrounds to allow for minor changes to our header color. Checkout the facebook and Google+ headers for ideas, as well as our attached screenshot.
The image shows the place holders and black and white highlighting indicated by letters where we will place the icons. If we are quite satisfied with the icon we choose there could be more design work for the winning icon designer in the near future. Your work will appear on our public website.
