Mike was fantastic to work with! I would highly recommend him and will use him again if I need additional design. He followed what I was looking for in my design brief, he was very receptive to feedback and revising the design, and he was extremely quick in responding to emails. I am so happy with the finished product and how we worked together.
Nice work. Quick turnaround.
Each totally nailed it in every aspect! He is a great communicator and clearly saw our vision. We will be working with Escu again very soon! Thank you so much :)
great ideas and good to work with. there was a problem converting the files but he worked hard to make them perfect. Thanks.

Who are you known as?
Dovetail HR Consulting
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I have an HR Consulting business that works primarily with tech and retail companies. I take a more modern approach to HR than most others. Rather than focusing on policy, procedure, administrative stuff and being the "HR Police", I help companies create awesome cultures and engage their people in meaningful ways. My focus is on helping start-up to medium sized businesses grow and scale. I am part of my clients management and strategy teams. I focus on strategic growth and culture initiatives which help engage and develop their people. I strongly believe that highly engaged people help businesses succeed and grow. And if you're stuck at work for 8+ hours a day you should like the people and the company you work for.
My target audience is CEO's or management team members of start ups to medium size businesses that are very innovative and forward thinking.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Not all black, no brown, no pastels, no red, orange, yellow. No neon. Green, blue or purple are what I prefer. In purple, I prefer a more aubergine color, nothing lavender or very primary purple. In blues, I like the whole gamut of blues. In green, nothing dark like a forest green or bright like lime green. On the color wheel I prefer colors in the range of Violet, Blue violet, blue, blue green, green.

I LIKE THE LAYERING OF THE GRAPHIC AND FONT
I LIKE THE SIMPLICITY AND IT FEELS CLEAN BUT IT DOES LACK COLOR
I LIKE THAT IT IS ABSTRACT AND HAS A LEVEL OF DIMENSION.
I LIKE THAT THE GRAPHIC HAS SOME DIMENSION
I LIKE THE LAYOUT OF THE GRAPHIC OVER THE NAME AND THE ADDITIONAL GRAPHIC BELOW. THIS LOGO FEELS CLEAN, NOT FUSSY, YET INTRIGUING.
I LIKE HOW CLEAN IT LOOKS AND THE USE OF MULTIPLE COMPLIMENTARY FONTS
I like the sense of movement and dimension.
I like that it has dimension to it
Crisp and modern preferred. I would like a primary and secondary font (secondary font does not have to be used in the logo but is needed for brand identity). The secondary font can stray from the "crisp and modern" direction but should be complimentary.
Type of logo
Modern. Does not need to be a literal translation of dovetail. I want a definitive graphic that can stand on its own without the name of the company next to it. I DO NOT want the logo to just be the word Dovetail or only the initials "DHRC" or the company name. I don't want to look like a financial institution or typical consultant firm (ie dry and boring).
Clean and modern. Would be cool if it has some dimension to it. I want to look professional but not stuffy or boring. I don't want it to look like a boring one dimensional graphic I cut and pasted off a free image on the web.
