Did an amazing job with the feedback that we was given.
Has a true talent for design and spacial relationships! Also was great on the back end of the project, refining things, getting all file types, etc. Couldn't recommend anyone more highly.
- greatt artt
Greatt Artt's design from the beginning incorporated several aspects of our company into a very neat and clever concept. It only took a few tweaks here and there and we had a winner.
Great insight to get the ideas across. Highly recommended.
- Asidos de la Vid

Amazing job!! Thank you!!
How autoparts started their logo & brand identity pack journey
Who are you known as?
Y-Yard Auto & Truck, Inc
What’s your company slogan?
Can you help us create one? Here are phrases we have used in the past. "Since Everyone Is Riding On Used Parts Why Not Ride On the Best?". However-the word used seems to be a negative anymore. "Redefining the Expectations of Recycled Parts". Raising the bar, High standards, High expectations? Something that lets people know we are far above a junkyard image people have been branded with.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an automotive recycling center. We buy wrecked automobiles and sell the parts to wholesale and retail customers as an economical and environmentally friendly option. Our primary audience would be collision centers (body shops), mechanical repair shops, New Car Dealerships, Used Car dealerships, and any individual looking to fix their car with original equipment from the manufacturer, called OEM parts. What makes the Y-Yard different is that we are far ahead of the "junkyard" image many people still have. We hold very high expectations of our products and our employees. We have high standards, low return rates and see customer satisfaction as our number one priority. We are located in southern Illinois, yet can service clients all over the US and sometimes overseas. We specialize in late model cars, trucks, vans and SUV's both domestic and import. You can check our our website at http://www.y-yard.com.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
yellow and black have been our old colors. Thought of adding in orange. Would like to be able to change the colors of the logo with different marketing pieces.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Years ago we did a checkered flag that looked like a highway across the logo. We want to liven up our logo, make it pop but make it simple. We have a lot of trouble when we embroider shirts because of all the stitchings. Then the checkered road looks awful. The yellow we have had trouble with because the black background bleeds through and turns it mustard color. Want something to pop. I will include our old logos but we don't want to use those. We had someone local work up a logo for our delivery trucks so it would stand out on the road. It is the one with the orange oval. It's too big and way too busy for a shirt design or letterhead work.
