A Perfect Life
Author is a novelist with a keen interest in stories about the human spirit in the face of adversity.
A Perfect Life follows the journey of an ambitious woman who rediscovers her connection with her autistic brother after a workplace incident and family tragedies. The main character is a hardnose, no-nonsense woman who believes she can achieve almost anything through sheer will power but when multiple tragedies befalls her, she finds out that it's not as easy as she thought.
Adults who enjoy fiction about overcoming adversity in the face of extreme challenges.
Book cover type
Preference is for cover to be an illustration, and not simply overlaying the title using stock images with minimal edits to the image. The book cover should capture one of the recurring scenes of the book where, after family tragedies befall the main character, she finds herself laying on a field of lush green grass, where her world freeze in time. She is stoic. The only movement is the wind, flickering her hair messily across her face, her eyes sorrowful. The cover should juxtapose against the title of "A Perfect Life" given the tragedies that she experiences clearly isn't providing her "a perfect life".
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at US$299.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
jkd44 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Designer understood the brief from the very beginning and took liberty to apply his artistic license, which was not necessarily the case with other designers.
He was also open to feedback (no matter how small they were or how frequently it was provided) and was prompt with iterations. We had good communication throughout the process, which helped deliver something that we are both proud of.
I found the designer very helpful and would recommend him for your designs.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
