Revenge of the Wallflower
Blog.
I am looking for a Header for a blog. Header fits into a header size 1000px Wide and 150px to 250px Height, depending on the design.
I am doing a simple blog about Introverts--their likes and dislikes, dating, advice, meet up groups, etc.
I'd like an element of comedy/sarcasm in the design of the header, as the site is a bit on the comedic side. The remainder of the blog site will be a simple white, so the banner needs to be able to be simply uploaded into a white space.
Full wording: (main) "REVENGE OF THE WALLFLOWER--(subtitle) Go Away. I'm Alright." (View my current site)
I've uploaded a couple of very basic ideas I threw together...undeniably horrid, so don't look for TOO long!
You are free to be creative. I would like a bit of art, not just words. Perhaps something to do with wallpaper, splat designs, REVENGE-ish font (like MASTERPLAN) or torn wallpaper. Sort of a 'Rage Against the....' idea. White background. Bold. Clean. Uncluttered. Simple.
Non-gender-specific (no overtly feminine flowers or pink colors, or only blue-grey blocks). I certainly don't mind a flower (as the blog is about wallflowers) but maybe a more stylized flower.
Target audience: 20-40, male, female, nerdy, quiet, sarcastic, shy, web surfers.
My incomplete blog is here:

I also like this concept of the torn paper (but maybe make it wallpaper?)

I also kinda like the big, blocky letters of different sizes (like in the Ford Truck commercials).
Fav color combos (Black, Grey, Red) (Gold 255,193,0 Black, Grey)
An option: REVENGE still bold, hard. But 'wallflower' more tame and in line with what we think of when we think of introverts: quiet, demure, withdrawn.
Perhaps a font I like (Birth of a Hero, small letters... because of it's crumbly nature) large and soft-colored (grey, not girly) in the background, being written over, like in submissions 4 and 23. It's just an idea. :-) Thanks everyone!
