We need markers and labels designed for use on Google Maps. The marker and the label must incorporate the word "PreList". The marker should be designed in accordance with certain guidelines and be respectful of certain hard and soft constraints of the Google Maps environment.
For example, the marker should not be larger than 70 pixels wide or 40 pixels high. The marker should be wider than it is high. The smaller the better, but the first priority is that the word "PreList" is legible. The word "PreList" can be redesigned and re-oriented, for example the "Pre" can be stacked atop the list or the entire word can be placed at an angle for better use of the canvas. The marker should be designed such that it can carry a 'rider' such as the word "NEW" (as in new listing) or "SOLD".
The marker must be provided in PNG format. For guidelines and tips on creating good Google Maps markers, see http://code.google.com/p/google-map…Contribute
The label is essentially a variation of the marker that will be used in other places on the site. The label is more of a logo. We felt it was important to create the marker before the logo as the marker has more design constraints. There needs to be consistency between the marker and the label, but they do not have to be the same.
An crude example is attached for reference, but no need to follow anything in it!
Thanks for your interest in the project.
