What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A stand that holds a tablet, and ID card and diagnostic device at a 40 degree angle. The distance from the tablet to the ID card must be 8 inches and the distance from the table to the device face must be 9 inches. The stand must be sturdy enough for the users to sign the tablet with their finger and type without the tablet sliding or falling over. I am open to a variety of materials. Cost is a big issue. these items will be given away and must be manufactured for $20 or less.
In the simple drawing below, the image may look like the ID card is to the right of the diagnostic cup. The tablet takes a picture of the ID first and then later takes a picture of the diagnostic cup. Both must be directly in the center. The ID can slide into slit in the holder that is directly in front of the cup holder section.
Users of the product are using a 7inch tablet to scan an ID card and a diagnostic test cup. An example of the product and process can be seen at Smartscreens.businesscatalyst.com. Video is at the bottom of the draft website page. CAD files of the device cup and lid attached.
Any where between 30-40 degrees is fine. The tablet is taking a picture of the device and the ID. It also needs to be a comfortable angle for a standing person when the tablet/stand is on a desk. The angle of the tablet must be identical to that of the device and ID card. Keep in mind that the back of the device cup is not round. It has a custom shape.
